having lived 19yrs and 6mths...i've come to realise that some beliefs and principles which i've held on to so strongly in the past.........they didnt even matter that much anymore........if only i gave in at that point in time, perhaps i could have lived a happier life....or maybe not....anyway it doesnt really matter anymore....
since dont know when, the earth has changed.it began to retaliate and turn on us humans who have done so damage to it. SARS, asian tsunami, countless typhoons/floods/droughts that had taken away so many lives, mad cow diease, avian flu and now the evolutionary swine flu. on top of all these natural disasters, we have an ever increasing number of murder cases, suicide cases, riots and threats of possible nuclear/ non-nuclear wars. putting man-made disaster and natural disaster altogether, how much more can the almighty human speices take before we're completely wiped out? perhaps even before we run out of oil/water, the extinction of certain animal species might disrupt our food-chain and wipe us out. Or maybe we would all perish even before the food chain is destroyed, due to global warming/changing climates. i'm not some born pessimistist, but looking at the rate that the world is changing and the occurrence of disasters..it's hard to deny the myth of D-day drawing near.
with that, i earnestly pray that humans would put an end to all the conflicts and fighting. we are all children of the earth, why should we deny someone else of a chance to live? live life to love and love life to live. that is what that kept us going since ancient time.
