got a very romantic surprise on my 20th birthday. <3The night before, Ben got my campus and classroom location from me. I thought he was picking me up after lesson, but nope he didn't in the end. Lesson started at 7pm and I was busy fighting the Zzzz monster. Around 7.30pm, a guy opened the door and peeked in. The first thing hwee ting and I thought was that he looked like a 逃犯，鬼鬼祟祟的. hahaha!! And we thought he was just any other student that couldnt find his classroom in the campus. Lesson continued......and at 8.30pm, the same guy opened the door and looked around for quite awhile. It caught the attention of my tutor, Shawn. He went up to ask if the guy at the door if he needed any help. The guy at the door said he was looking for someone and Shawn helped to read out the name. "Is Eunice here?" my heart stopped. At the door, the delivery guy was holding a bouquet of roses. He looked super 不好意思for interrupting the lesson. There were around 40-50 students in the room. X: I remained frozen at my seat for a while, hesitating whether I should own up to collect the flowers. Then I stood up and walked to the door, face was blushing like mad. The class cheered and Shawn was smiling and said he is so touched that he couldnt continue with lesson. He said,"Who cares about Human Biology??". HAHAHA!! god!! now the whole class knows my name is Eunice!! :F Then ask we were talking about human evolution, like how ideas could get across from ages ago till today through the complex communication structure that humans possess..he used me as an example again. -____-
saying smth like if he were to write a story about the touching scene he just saw, people 2000 years from now could still feel the emotions through his words etc...
For the rest of the lesson, I was trying to recover from the huge surprise I just got.
For that moment, I felt like the female lead in 'My Sassy Girl'
, receiving flowers during lecture. The only difference was that mine came as a surprise, not a request/demand.
